As the sun shone on her shiny hair
I realized the gratefulness with her I must share
The times she makes me laugh,
or cry,
The way she makes me feel inside.
The joy she brings from a simple word,
The love I experience from a great big hug.
The rush of energy and
The warmth inside
from her gentle touch, from her sensual sigh
Make me ecstatic, happy and feel alive.

I am grateful she was sent to me
As pretty and content as a Summer’s eve
Smelling of a lavender field
Bringing up pleasures from far beneath
where I thought I could feel.

Her love is gentle, sweet and real
Her love is cautious with a great appeal
to delve in deeper and throw caution to the wind
If only she knew how I would take her in.

Allowing her to take her time
Waiting until the moment for it to be the most divine.
Slowly and surely I will ply her wares
Taking away any and all her cares.

For I am grateful that she is in my life
Her friendship, compassion,
soul, spirit and heart
are at one with mine.
