About Susan Faith
Susan Faith is the founder of Purple People Incorporated and the award-winning author of Purple Love, Purple Puppy, Purple Day, Purple Wave, poetry that is published in various anthologies and travel-related articles published in magazines and on travel websites. It is her vision through her healing journey that has been the driving force behind Purple People Incorporated.
Susan Faith became seriously challenged by her health in 1990 while attending law school. Rather than being able to enjoy her family life and a healthy lifestyle, all of her energy was spent on pursuing a diagnosis, treatment and the desire for a cure for her debilitating illness.
In 1997, Susan decided it was time to turn within for the answers to heal herself. On a bright and sunny afternoon, she decided it was time to be happy, healthy and to find the power within her own heart, soul and spirit to learn to soar again. She began with meditation and within a few short weeks found herself able to do things that she had been unable to do for years. The progression was rapid. Through yoga, Susan’s mobility and flexibility increased. Within six months of beginning to meditate and two months of beginning yoga, Susan was able to cut her handicap placard into pieces. She began to play the West African djembe drum which continues to provide a spiritual center for her.
Although Susan Faith successfully completed law school, she chose not to practice law. The decision was easy after a physically challenging hiking trip through Arizona when she returned home with the concepts for Purple Love, Purple Day and Purple Puppy.
Susan consciously and consistently works to maintain her health as she journeys on her spiritual path to spread the message of Purple People throughout the World. She enjoys an active life with no limitations… walking, biking, hiking, climbing whenever and wherever she pleases.Susan is an avid animal lover and enjoys the company of her two dogs and two cats!
Susan and her partner have expanded upon the concept of Purple People and are now writing and producing documentaries about Equality. Susan’s vision is that these films will be shared with people worldwide to help encourage a more understanding and peaceful Universe.
Susan is the mother of a spiritually-centered son who is her best friend. Susan Faith continues to meditate, still tries to find time to enjoy yoga, exercises regularly and loves playing her djembe drum.
